As Hatay undergoes one of Europe’s largest post-disaster urban reconstruction and modernization processes following the February 2023 earthquakes, our municipality is aggressively integrating sustainable, smart city infrastructures and widespread IoT sensor networks across new urban developments. We offer an exceptional real-world smart city deployment environment (smart city management, energy monitoring, environmental sensing) to validate, benchmark, and deploy your advanced materials and autonomous sensor systems in representative urban use cases (TRL 4 and beyond). Partnering with us provides your consortium with: Real-World Testbed & Pilot Deployment: Direct access to emerging municipal infrastructures for integrating battery-free, energetically autonomous IoT nodes (environmental, energy, and infrastructure monitoring). High Impact & Replicability: Demonstrating strategic EU sustainability, RePowerEU, and Green Deal ambitions in a rapidly rebuilding, high-density urban region with direct replication potential for other European cities. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Active leadership in portfolio activities, corporate/public communication, and raising awareness for radical green energy innovations.
